"Promoting choral excellence throughout Ohio."

OCDA College and University Commissioning Consortium

OCDA is pleased to announce the second College and University Commissioning Consortium. OCDA invites your ensemble to buy into the commissioning of a new choral work. OCDA is specifically focused on commissioning a BIPOC and/or female composer to write a work for SATB (occasional divisi) and piano of moderate, collegiate-level difficulty. All those who are contribute to the consortium will be able to vote on who the commissioned composer is, from a list selected by the OCDA College and University Commissioning Committee. While this project is steered by the OCDA College and University Repertoire & Resources area, we welcome other interested organizations to participate who feel an SATB piece of moderate college/university difficulty would be appropriate for their ensemble.

The topic of text and subject matter will be up to the composer, with the mention of underrepresented voices being of specific interest.
